It's more than 2 years since I started playing an online game, Flyff that is. I could still remember so many sleepless nights, and less rest just to level up my character - fighting monsters, completing quests and buying stuff online, I bought the vigor ring before. I was addicted! And then, stopped playing because I need to focus working (and limited access to the internet) also need to earn more for my needs and wants.

And one rainy afternoon, I have decided to register once again an account and downloaded the installer. And now, I have created a new Flyff character. Fly For Fun! There are a lot of changes and additional features than previous game, and upgraded the servers. Cool!

And I found out that my previous character, 2 years ago is still active! but not good enough, my assist level 49 is too weak, and I need to reset the stat once I get the chance. All I have to do is buy a scroll that will allow me to reset my current stats.

This is really fun. Hope to see you online. My character's name is "MitchMatch" level 49 assist, and my new character "ironjack" is still a "vagrant" level 14 and I'm planning to make it a "mercenary" to become a PK "player killer". Lol.

It's been a month since I haven't updated this blog for some reason (busy working). And as I have noticed the Google Page Rank dropped to zero from PR 3. *whew* Now, I have to work double time to catch up on the next PR update, and hopefully to gain back what was lost.

My 3 Blogging Reasons

Why do I blog?

Honestly, I am not good writer, that's true and it is visible on every blog posts that I have here. And I am trying to be a good writer, it's just I can't. One of my superior asked me before, can you write? I said yes of course, BUT not as a good as you are. Some of my blog posts here are less informative and mixed- up of topics. I write whatever topics that I feel interests on it. To the readers, you're comment is very much appreciated, however this is a personal blog and NOT an entry for any writing contest that you can critic or correct the grammar of my writings. Just avoid commenting that my writing sucks. Just remember that. It's really hard for to express my feelings in purely writings, describing or illustrating what I've done that's why I presented some pictures, somehow it will help the readers to understand what I'm trying to express and lessen the length of words to be written. However, not all the time pictures tell the story, right? So, as a blogger or writer you have to describe what the picture is trying to portray. And I think, I have to learn all those stuffs step-by-step. When I first started blogging, way back 2005 I don't have any goals at all. And recently, I figured out that blogging could be a good source of information, extra income and connection to your friends online.

Blogging Reasons:

1. SEO – Search Engine Optimization. I used blog as a tool in promoting a brand, it could be a service or product online. For example, If I'm going to write something about “IT jobs in the Philippines” I could link those keywords to a certain page where they (visitors) can find information about “IT Jobs in the Philippines”. Providing them information that serves as an invitation to visit the linked page and it's up to them to evaluate the relevancy of the information provided by the link page. The Internet user is still the one to make decisions whether or not to proceed any further.

Why do I need to put keywords and link to the site's page IF I can put the entire link page URL?

Simply because, keywords can help your site's ranking and visibility in the major search engine. It is believed that popularity is counted based on the number of quality and quantity of links pointing to a web page. And also, search engines give much value on the links within the content for a relevant topic or information.

2. Extra Income. I found out by reading some blog entries and testimonials that they earn or generate income through blogging. And they are all correct, however I haven't earn yet.

There are many options available online – there is Adsense, Blog reviews program, Referral and affiliate programs. I tried some but never generated an income. Hehe. I have an Adsense and it's not in good shape, my current balance is $5.00 that's for the entire 3 months. Hehehe. However, I found out something that can improve my earnings. (sekrito para bibo).weeee...

3. Information. I blogged because I want to share information. I want to let them (visitors) know what's cool based on my experience, HOWEVER there are some point that it's not applicable to the readers, so it's up to you to evaluate it for yourself. You're old enough dude! Hehe. Whenever I posted on my blog, the information is always reliable UNLESS I said so. That's another story. I included some links within the blog entry, it's not just for SEO but for all visitors (human readers) to get some fresh ideas around them.

In this section, I will illustrate how to verify your website using Google Webmaster Tool. I have here screen shots that will definitely help and guide you in registering your website.

Here are the simple steps in verifying your website:

Step 1: Visit https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools , the page will display after hitting the enter key. (Note: You must have a Google email account)

Step 2: In the “text box” input the URL of the website that you wanted to verify. In this example, I inputted http://www.bhipro.com.

Step 3: After you have inputted the URL of the website, CLICK the “Add Site” button. The page below will display after clicking the "Add Site" button.

As you have noticed, there’s a quick “indexing” overview report for the http://www.bhipro.com - Home page crawl and Index status. On top of that, you can see the message in yellow box with a hyper text link "Verify your site".

Step 4: Click the "Verify your site", and the page below will display. In this page, you will see the verification status for the http://www.bhirpo.com has NOT VERIFIED yet.

There’s a drop-box [Choose verification method…] in this page wherein you can select options on how you would verify your website.

Step 5: Below is the illustration after clicking on the drop-box button [Choose verification method...] – Add a Meta tag and Upload an HTML file.

Select the verification method, Add a meta tag. Then, after selecting method of verification (add a Meta tag), the code will display for you to add in your HTML code.

Step 6: Copy and Paste the Meta verification code to your page editor. In my case, I used the Dreamweaver editor. I accessed the index page or home page of the www.bhipro.com and added Meta verification code in the HEAD section of the index page or home page.

NBI clearance

Getting the NBI clearance in the easiest way!

1. Make sure that you have a valid Identification card – ID. Any of the following will do; SSS ID, Voter’s ID, Birth certificate, School ID, Driver’s license, and I forgot the rest. I will just add it here when I have the chance.
2. Don’t forget to bring ball pen, though there’s a store there selling ball pens with higher price compare to regular stores, or in department stores.
3. Bring enough money. (The charge is 115.00 pesos)
4. Follow instructions and simple steps:
• Present your valid id in getting the NBI form.
• Fill-up the information correctly. Read and understand before signing up!
• You’ll be guided for the finger prints. (don’t worry of washing the inks away, there’s a store selling soap powder…2.00 pesos per spoon)
• Payment. Bring enough money so that the transaction is smooth, the charge for local employment and travel abroad is the same at 115.00
• Then, you’ll be told to go to the Victoria Plaza, 2nd floor for the picture taking, just present your receipt.
• The releasing of NBI clearance will be announced.

Isn’t easy!? (**) But the worst scenario there is when your name is included the “hit lists”, meaning your name has similarity or exactly the same names with people having criminal records in the NBI. In that case, the NBI clearance will be release after 10-working days, and you’ll be undergoing series of interviews. But nothing to worry if you’re not guilty or you're not the person in the "hit lists"! That is only the SOP – standard operating (ion) procedure.

The NBI agency is located in Bajada in front of Victoria Plaza, Davao City. The office is open at 8:00 Am, and after getting the form, filling up the information needed and payment, you’ll need to wait for the mall to open at 10:00 AM, the issuance of clearance is on the 2nd floor, Victoria Plaza.

In my case, I went there around 8:00 am and there were already around 50 people waiting. And then, I waited for almost an hour just for the Victoria Plaza mall to open. And after the picture taking, we were told to get the clearance at 3:00 Pm, but as early as 2:30Pm they already started distributing the clearances, and then, I have mine! Hehehe.

Which comes first?

Yesterday, October 4 was the birthday of my father and I was not able to greet him because I was freaking busy. I know it’s not a valid excuse, but what can I do…I'm just an ordinary good looking guy who sometimes forget to eat his meal on time. But honestly, I really forgot, my attention was focused on the assignment and task given to me. Whew! But I think everything is fine now, I already talked with my father and I am very happy that he’s doing fine and in good health. And the truth is the celebration will be held tomorrow, they’re planning to go to the beach with the whole clan, lol. I am envy ‘cause I can’t go with them and be missing the fun.

I am far away from my family, mama, papa, sister and pamangkins (the good thing is that I’m still single, however I still miss ‘em), and here I am spending most of my time working (not as overtime but over staying, lol) and sometimes with good friends. I have noticed that the number of working hours has risen and the time with family has fallen.

Ang akoang sugilanon.

Ako na gikan sa malayong dapit, nasalaag dinhe sa dabaw kay nanimpalad na maka kaplag ug maayong ugma. Ug pinaagi sa pagkugi ug deteminasyon nakakita jud ug maayo ug desente na trabaho. Gikan lunes abot ug beyernes nakaatubang sa komputer (naka On bya pud ha!), kay lagi ako man ang natugyanan sa pag atiman sa mga websites sa among kleyente aron mapataas ug mapalambo ang ilahang abot sa pinaagi sa pag rank sa ilahang websites.

Mag upat nako ka bulan dire sa dabaw, ug daghan nako nakaila, mga bag-ong higala. Sa unang pag-abot nako sa dabaw, dako kaayo akong pagkatingala ug pagdayig kay lahi lang ang akong nadungog sa mga news. Wala man diay gubot sa dabaw, peaceful kaau ug ang mga dribers deseplanado, dili pareha sa ubang dribers sa cagayan de oro na kulang ug seminar (dili tanan, daghan pud maayo na dribers).

Kung lugar na katambayan ug kalaaganan daghan pud,depende lang sa trip nimo. Kung gusto ka live band pwde sa MTS, halos naa na tanan didto. Pero kung gusto ka mag date-date, mas chuy sa jack's ridge pero adto ka didto kanang gabie para makita nimo ang maanyag na suga sa dabaw lights. lol. Kung gusto ka mag dula ug badminton, pwde sa holiday spa, or sa smashville. Kung gusto ka mag billiard, pwde sa BluePost II, sa ponciano street or adto sa ilustre, sidepocket...ug naa pud sa mga malls - Gmall, NCCC mall, Victoria Plaza, and SM. Bowling? - sa fairlanes lang man ko naka sulay...oks pud didto.

Mga chix sa dabaw

Kung chix lang pud ang hisgutan walay mopilde sa dabaw (aw ikaduha diay ang dabaw sa Dumaguete, hehe). Bitaw, ang mga chix dire sa dabaw lahi ra jud...simple lang pero rock! Pero ambot ngano kahang wala pa koy nauyab dire noh? Wafo man pud unta ko, ingon sa akoa mama. lol

Why are the "Dabaweños," guests and even tourists are so excited to witness the "Kadayawan Festival"? Ano bang meron?

The guy from Negros Oriental is very much curious and at the same time excited to see this event. I've been here for nearly 3 months (still a stranger in this place), and this would be my first time to witness the "Kadayawan Festival". Am lucky enough in the sense that I am here in Davao City and have the chance to witness personally the event. I am really looking forward to seeing this event. And the truth is, I'm starting to save money just for this event coz I know (I have this feeling) that there's a lot of happenings that for sure I and my friends (chuckie and wiggles) should attend to. chuckie and wiggles is not a band

Do you know who we are and what we can do? -- No!? --Really? Think harder. Okay fine! To make things easier for you, here's a hint. Have you heard "Sige", "Sandalan", and the latest song "Upside Down"? -- The 6-Cycle Mind! Yes, exactly! But unfortunately...We are not them!...for now. (BIg Grin). but sooner or later we'll have our chances to shine like 'em.

We (Actually, I'm the one naming it =:D) named ourselves "chuckie and wiggles" (we have no affiliation to any group, it's just for fun). It was named after our favorite "chuckie chocolate" drink and "marshmallow wiggles" candy. (laughing) Wala lang...The photo below was taken around 3A.M @the Roxas park. =))

Chuckie and Wiggles will be having their never ending street tours, you can see 'em wandering in the streets of Ilustre, Roxas and Ponce - Guerrero. And frequently they're at the Side Pocket after payday, drinking beers! (cheers). If you see them anywhere, PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH! They're tremendously dangerous...(just kidding) Hehe, Of course we are harmless and friendly. (winks)

It just cropped up from my idle mind and decided to post this picture here. It just pop-up from nowhere. Maybe because I particularly look good in this picture. nah! c'mon it's not just about looks here, there's something else...ummmh, we'll see..ahhH! maybe because of this young lady besides me. (on my left) Oops, [Warning!] don't make fun of her, (you don't have an idea what she can do...Ma-Ma-Ak na! HahaHa.) if you don't want to be brought in to Her office for behaving so badly and means you deserves a disciplinary action, ayt ma'am? Hehe. But she's good and smart aside from being charming.
